FALL 2008 League INFO 

 

BOYS

 

1ST – 2ND GRADE (Storm)

This is a clinic/ team format for all players in Utah County.  Clinics will be held once a week for all players at a central location (either in American Fork or Pleasant Grove). High School Lax Players will assist coaches at clinics focusing on teaching the fundamentals of the sport while striving to maximize player enthusiasm and a love for the sport.  Teams will be formed based on city/ HS boundaries.  Cities/ HS Boundaries maybe combine to fill teams.  A parent/ coach will hold one additional practice a week at location in the community where the players live.  Games will be on Saturdays.  Games will be 6 on 6 on a shortened field with no goalies.   High School Players will Referee Saturday games. 

·      Cost: $40

·      Gear:  limited amount of rental gear is available for $40.

·      Must be current US Lacrosse Member (for Insurance Purpose). Go to www.uslacrosse.org to become a member or check membership status.

·      Registration begins Mid August.  Clinics start the second week of September.

·      6 games included.

 

3rd – 4th GRADE (Lightening)

This is a clinic/ team format for all players in Utah County.  Clinics will be held once a week for all players at a central location (either in American Fork or Pleasant Grove). 5th – 6th GRADE (Thunder)
